HungerHeroes 2025: Fighting Veteran Hunger One Meal at a Time
On November 8, 2025, Outreach and its volunteer team Feed6 will partner with the Chicago Wolves for the 8th annual HungerHeroes! meal packaging event at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, IL. Together with volunteers, they’ll package 100,000 nutritious meals for food-insecure veterans and their families. Since 2017, this effort has provided more than 587,000 meals to veterans in need. Through Think Local, we’re helping fund 6,250 of this year’s meals—because every veteran deserves dignity, hope, and a full plate.

As a veteran himself, Mark Milstein has seen firsthand the impact of food insecurity in the veteran community. He’s also attended more than 100 HungerHeroes! events, watching thousands of volunteers come together to serve those who once served us. Supporting this campaign is deeply personal to Mark—it’s a way to honor his fellow veterans and ensure they know they are not forgotten.
